What's new in NeoLoad Web

Here you'll find the latest features, enhancements, and bug fixes to improve your experience with NeoLoad Web.

Dashboard enhancements

NeoLoad Web now makes it easier to create, expand, and find your dashboards. Here's what we improved:

  • Select up to 4 test results in the Results section to quickly create a comparison dashboard.

  • When you drag test result data onto a tile, NeoLoad Web now recognizes the data type and only lets you drop it onto tiles with a matching type.

  • Add Elements count metric to the tiles to see how many times elements trigger during a test run with its successes and failures.

  • Open the new Dashboards tab in the test result page to see every dashboard that includes it.

Guaranteed Virtual Users for workspaces

Administrators can now guarantee Virtual Users (VU) to a workspace. Tests in the workspace always have their dedicated VUs available, and any remaining license capacity stays in the shared pool.

More MCP actions for result analysis and management

The NeoLoad Web MCP server now includes more actions for working with test results. AI agents can fetch Service Level Agreement (SLA) outcomes, full summary statistics, and valid filter values, then write analysis findings back onto the result.

The new actions include:

  • get-result-contexts returns the populations, user paths, and zones available on a result, so agents can run targeted filtered queries.

  • get-result-slas returns SLA pass, warn, and fail outcomes for a result, with filters for SLA type, element type, and status.

  • get-result-statistics returns the full summary statistics for a result in a single call, including live values while a test is running.

  • update-result writes analysis findings back onto a result by updating its name, description, lock status, or quality status.

APT - Analysis

NeoLoad Web now includes APT - Analysis, the first workflow of our Agent Performance Testing (APT) agent. Open APT from the AI Chat button on any page and select Create performance analysis to generate an AI report for a test result, with a progress tracker that shows the agent's status while it works. APT is consumption-based: each run uses credits in proportion to the amount of information the agent processes. See Manage APT - Analysis access to control which users can run APT - Analysis through the AI Chat column in Settings > Users.

Workspace resource management

Administrators can now control how workspaces consume license resources. For example:

Key capabilities include:

  • Set maximum Web VUs for each workspace.

  • Define VUH consumption limits with real-time tracking of remaining capacity.

Usage history of VUH

NeoLoad Web now tracks VUH consumption in the Usage history page. You can export a CSV report that includes allocated and consumed VUH per workspace.

Offline license leases

NeoLoad Web now supports offline leases for transferring license capacity to NeoLoad or other NeoLoad Web instances. This is useful if NeoLoad can't connect to NeoLoad Web for licensing, or when you need to distribute licenses across multiple NeoLoad Web deployments.

MCP meta tool

The NeoLoad Web MCP server now offers a meta tool endpoint. The standard endpoint loads all 45 tool definitions into your AI assistant's context window. The meta tool exposes only two: mcp_discover and mcp_execute. Your AI assistant discovers actions on demand and runs them through a single interface, so more of the context window stays available for your prompts and responses.

MCP timeseries tool

The NeoLoad Web MCP server now includes a get-result-timeseries tool that returns sampled metrics (user load, errors, response time, throughput) for a test result. AI agents can pull the full history of a completed run or poll a running test for fresh data points.

Dedicated IP addresses from Azure

NeoLoad Web now offers dedicated IP addresses from Azure in addition to AWS and GCP. You can reserve them and extend the reservation right in NeoLoad Web.

To use Azure IP addresses in tests, the admins first need to enable the new cloud zones in SettingsZones.

Dynamic infrastructure agent

NeoLoad Web now offers agent-based dynamic infrastructure for Kubernetes. An agent deployed in your environment establishes an outbound-only connection to NeoLoad Web and receives instructions, eliminating the need for inbound network access, firewall changes, or lengthy security approvals. This secure, reverse communication model enables on-demand provisioning of controllers and load generators and gives you access to NeoLoad Web AI features and continuous innovation.
