Create dashboards

A single test result tells you how one test run went. Dashboards let you build advanced analyses that compare several test runs side-by-side. For example, you can focus on checking whether a change, like a recent infrastructure upgrade, actually improved response times.

Choose a dashboard type

You start by choosing the type of the dashboard. NeoLoad Web offers three ways to build a dashboard:

  • Custom dashboards: Start with an empty dashboard and manually add tiles to create personalized visualizations.

  • Comparison dashboards: Automatically generate dashboards that compare up to 4 test results side-by-side.

  • Reports: Get automatic pre-configured reports after test execution.

Manage your dashboards

Once you've built several dashboards, keep them organized with these features:

  • Duplicate: Copy an existing dashboard to use as a starting point for a new one.

  • Share: Make a dashboard visible to your workspace, or export it as a PDF for external distribution.

  • Delete: Remove a single dashboard, or select multiple dashboards to delete them at once.

To find every dashboard built from a specific test, open the test's results and check the Dashboards tab.

Dashboard tiles

NeoLoad Web lets you customize the metrics that you see in both the comparison and custom dashboards. Use flexible tiles that display your performance metrics in different formats:

  • Series: Shows result metrics in line graphs to track trends over time.

  • Table: Presents result metrics in structured tables for detailed analysis.

  • Text: Adds notes, explanations, or commentary using a rich text editor.

  • Widget: Displays predefined single result sets for quick insights.
