Create custom dashboards
Custom dashboards allow you to create data visualizations tailored to your specific analysis and reporting needs. Build your dashboard from scratch and include only the tile types you need.
Create a custom dashboard
To create a custom dashboard, follow these steps:
-
In the Dashboards view, select + Create dashboard.
-
In the create dashboard dialog, enter a name for your dashboard.
-
Select Custom dashboard.
-
Select Create to generate your custom dashboard.
Configure your custom dashboard
Custom dashboards start in an empty state, which gives you complete control over layout and content. Explore these customization features to build a dashboard tailored to your needs:
There are two ways to add new tiles to the dashboard.
To add a tile from the toolbar, follow these steps:
-
Select + Add tile in the top right corner.
-
Choose the tile type.
-
Configure the tile in the right panel.
-
Select Save to add the tile to your dashboard.
Alternatively, in the left panel Result data, select the data, then select Trace. NeoLoad adds the tile with new data at the bottom of the dashboard.
A comparison dashboard starts with 4 test results, and you can expand it later by adding more results to your tiles. To do that, follow these steps:
-
Expand the Result data panel on the left.
-
Select the Test result.
-
In User path or Monitors, select the data you want to add to the tile. Hold Ctrl to select multiple results.
-
Drag and drop the selected results into tiles with a matching data type.
You can also delete test results from tiles in the Edit menu of the tiles.
To remove a tile, select Remove in the top right corner of the tile.
To rearrange the tiles, hover over the heading of the tile and drag it to your preferred location on the dashboard.
Work with pre-configured reports
NeoLoad Web automatically generates pre-configured reports after test execution. These reports provide standard performance analysis and serve as starting points for creating custom dashboards.
Pre-configured reports appear in your Dashboards view marked as Report in the Type column. You can view, duplicate, or export these reports, but you can't modify their original content.
What's next?
Now that you can create custom dashboards, here's what you can do next:
-
Use comparison dashboards to compare performance across multiple test results.
-
Manage your dashboards to keep them organized and relevant.
-
Learn about specific tile types and how to configure them.
