Add attachments
Add files to qTest Manager objects to provide context or evidence. For example, attach screenshots of defects or spreadsheets with test results.
To add an attachment, follow these steps:

Open the object you want to add a file to.

Go to the upload location for attachments on that object. The location for an attachment depends on its object:

Release or build: Add the file in the resources for a release or build.

Requirement: Add the file in the Attachments section of the requirement.

Test case or test step: Add the file on the test case's Attachments tab or when you create a test step.

Test case, test step, or test log during execution: Add the file from the Execute Steps or Attachments tab in the TestPad.

Saved test log: Add or remove the file when you edit the test log.

Defect: Add the file when you create a stand-alone defect or submit a defect during execution.

Add the file with any of the following options:

Select Upload Files to browse for and select a file to upload from your computer.

Take a screenshot with a third-party program and use Ctrl+V to paste the file from your clipboard.

Drag and drop a file to the Drag and drop file here (Maximum Size 50MB) section to add the file as an attachment.

After you upload the file, select Save.
