Convert qTest test cases to Tosca Cloud

When you integrate qTest and Tosca Cloud, you can convert test cases from qTest to Tosca Cloud to automate and run your test in Tosca Cloud (opens in a new tab). This lets you take advantage of qTest features, like setting requirements and generating test cases from them, while also accessing the efficiency of automated tests in Tosca Cloud.

After you convert the test case, you can't edit the test case in qTest, and you can't unlink the test case from Tosca Cloud.

Before you start

Configure the integration in the qTest project.
Ensure you have permission to view and update test cases in the qTest project.
If you haven't let, check out the known limitations for this integration, so you know what it's currently capable of.

When you convert a test case, qTest sends it to the workspace you created when you configured your Tosca Cloud integration. Then, you can automate and run your test in Tosca Cloud (opens in a new tab).

To convert a qTest test case to Tosca Cloud, follow these steps:

In qTest, go to Test Design and select the test case you want to send to Tosca Cloud.
Select Convert.
Confirm the test case conversion. Tosca Cloud then creates a new test case that is linked to your qTest test case and it moves your test case up to the next major version.

After you've executed the test case in Tosca Cloud, View test results in qTest.
