View test results in qTest
When you integrate qTest with Tosca Cloud, you can run tests in Tosca Cloud (opens in a new tab) and view overall results in qTest. This lets you use qTest as a results repository, where you can keep track of your data in one location.
Before you start
-
Ensure you have permission to view test execution in the qTest project.
-
If you haven't yet, check out the known limitations for this integration.
View test results
The first time you run a playlist in Tosca Cloud (opens in new tab) , it synchronizes to qTest as a test cycle. While playlists in Tosca Cloud can include both converted qTest test cases and native Tosca Cloud test cases, Tosca Cloud only sends test case results from converted qTest test cases back to qTest.
To view results in qTest, go to the Test Execution tab and locate the test cycle from Tosca Cloud. You can find the results in the Imported from Tosca cloud test cycle, under a nested test cycle with the same name as the playlist created in Tosca Cloud.
From here, you can open the imported test run to see basic result details:
-
The overall Status, such as Passed or Failed.
-
The Executed start and Executed end dates and times.
To review detailed test run results, such as test step actual results, logs, videos, and attachments, select Open in Tosca Cloud.
What's next
You can review detailed results artifacts in Tosca Cloud (opens in a new tab).
