Workflows

We've made workflows more flexible and easier to manage:

Customer managed SAML single sign-on

We've moved SAML 2.0 single sign-on (SSO) into the Web Portal so Site Administrators can manage it themselves:

  • Register, edit, and delete SAML identity providers from a central table.

  • Upload PEM-encoded X.509 certificates per identity provider without server access.

  • Set the Vera service provider Entity IDs, client secret, private key, and public certificate from the Web Portal.

  • Test login SSO and signature SSO from the identity provider details page before you enable it for users.

Assign Named Approvers

We've added the ability to assign approval tasks to specific individuals instead of groups:

Consider disabling group approval task emails when Named Approvers are in use.

Approve qTest requirements and defects

Vera now supports routing qTest requirements and defects for approval, with full status transitions, record controls, and approval routes.
