Available Triggers
Domain administrators use Available Triggers to move any Vera record to the next state in its workflow. This works for any record type that supports workflow transitions.
Only Domain Administrators can change the workflow state with Available Triggers.
About Available Triggers
Every record in Vera follows a workflow. The Record Type's Workflow defines which transitions are possible at each state, and Vera uses the Default Workflow unless you configure a different one in the Records Management Policy (RMP).
The Available Triggers dropdown reads the record's current state and shows only the transitions that are valid right now. For example, a record in Draft state might show "Route for Approval" as a trigger, while a record in Approved state shows different options.
Use Available Triggers
To use Available Triggers, open any Vera record, go to the Record Detail tab, and select a transition from the Available Triggers dropdown on the right side of the record header.
When a domain administrator selects a trigger, Vera validates that the workflow allows the transition and moves the record to the next state. Depending on the configuration, this can start an approval route, create a new revision, or change editability rules. Vera logs every state change in Activity History.
