Workflow state mappings results
Use workflow state mappings results to track changes to record states triggered by workflow modifications. A workflow change occurs when you modify a workflow or change the workflow associated with a Record Type.
Mapping details
Mapping details provide metadata and summary statistics for a specific mapping task. Each mapping result includes the following information:
-
ID: The unique identifier for the mapping result.
-
Source workflow ID: The identifier for the workflow from which states are being mapped.
-
Initiator: The email address of the user who started the mapping process.

State mappings outline the logic used to transition states between workflows. Each mapping includes:
-
Source State Name: The name of the state in the original workflow.
-
Target State Name: The corresponding state in the new workflow that the source state maps to.
Mapped records
Mapped records display the granular results for each record affected by the mapping. Each record shows:

Record Id: The unique identifier for the specific record processed.
-
Source State: The original state of the record before the mapping.
-
Target State: The new state assigned to the record based on the mapping logic.
-
Status: Whether the mapping for that record was successful.
