Create modules manually

You can manually create modules to customize control identification and steering when scanning your application isn’t possible or doesn’t produce the desired results. You can also add special execution tasks to a manually created module and provide custom functionality that isn't available by default.

To create a module follow these steps:

1. Go to Inventory > Modules.

2. Select Create custom module.

3. Give the new module a meaningful name.

4. Define the general and specific module properties as needed.

5. Optionally, create module attributes.

6. Save the new module.
