Prepare for Tricentis Server Repository workspaces

Tricentis Server Repository workspaces provide an easy way to connect to a project, without having to remember connection strings.

To prepare your environment for Tricentis Server Repository workspaces, follow these steps:

1. Prepare the multi-user repository:

   • If you use Oracle, MS SQL Server, or DB2: prepare the database.

   • If you use SQLite: create one multi-user workspace to create the repository.

2. Add a project to the Tosca Administration Console to connect your repository to Tosca.

3. Only users that are in a group that's assigned to the project can create Tricentis Server Repository workspaces connected to this project. So if you haven't yet, prepare Tricentis User Administration:

   • Create users.

   • Create user groups.

   • Assign user groups to the project.

The infrastructure is ready. Users can now create their Tricentis Server Repository workspaces.
