Manage intervals
An interval in NeoLoad Web is a specific time range that you define to filter and analyze test results. Additionally, it lets you examine how your application performed during specific periods, such as when the load is highest or when certain errors happen.
The primary purpose of intervals is to isolate specific timeframes of your test result. Once you create an interval, you can apply it across various sections of your test run, such as Dashboard, Events, and the Values tab—not SLAs. The filtering gives you a better understanding of how your application behaves during intense periods as it allows for a more targeted troubleshooting and optimization of your tests.
Add intervals
To add intervals in your test run in NeoLoad Web follow these steps:
-
Go to the Results interface.
-
Navigate to the upper right corner of the Errors graph.
-
Select + Add interval. It will open a dialog window right above the graph.
-
Name your new interval. On the left side of the interval name, you can change the interval range color if needed.
-
Select an exact Start and End time for your interval in the Range tab.
-
Give a description to your interval in the Description tab.
-
Select Save.
Once you create an interval, you can use it to filter data in the Values tab. The interval filters the data so you can analyze Transactions, Pages, Requests, Actions, and Counters during the specified timeframe. Check out Values tab for more information.
