Generate a pre-configured report

It is possible to have NeoLoad Web generate a report for a Test Result in one click. This creates a new Dashboard that is pre-configured with several panels and widgets.

You can generate pre-configured reports from the Test Result view and from the Dashboards view. In the list of the Dashboards view, the icon indicates that the Dashboard is a pre-configured report.

Reports are automatically shared with all members of your Workspace. If you need to share a pre-configured report outside NeoLoad Web, you can easily:

• export it as a PDF file as explained in Export a Dashboard as PDF

• generate a public URL link as explained in Share a Dashboard outside NeoLoad Web

Tip: Both procedures below allow to create and/or view reports already created, they do not create duplicate ones in case a report already exists for a Test Result.

Generate or view a pre-configured report from the Test Result view

To generate/view a pre-configured report from the Test Result view, follow these steps:

1. Select a Workspace as described in Workspace selector.

2. In the left navigation panel, select the Home or the Search view.

3. Locate the Test Result for which you want to generate a report and select it by clicking on its name in green.

   You are led to the Test Result view.

4. In the Test Result view, click the View report button.

   

   You are led to the Dashboards view that displays the pre-configured report for the Test Result you have selected.

   

Generate or view a pre-configured report from the Dashboards view

To generate/view a pre-configured report from the Dashboards view, follow these steps:

1. Select a Workspace as described in Workspace selector.

2. In the left navigation panel, select the Dashboards view.

3. In the top right part of the view, click the CREATE button.

   

   The Create a Dashboard dialog opens.

   

4. Click the Report template.

   Use the dropdown menu to select the Test Result for which you want to generate a Dashboard report. To quicken your search, the list of Tests is filtered as you type.

   • The drop-down menu contains all Test Results (running and finished) started on the Account.

   • If you need to unselect a Test Result, just click the little cross next to it.

   The Title field gets prefilled with the start date and time of the Test Result.
   

5. Once you have selected the Test Result for which you want NeoLoad Web to generate a report, click the VIEW REPORT button.

   

   The view changes to display a pre-configured report for the Test Result you have selected.
