Platform set-up for runtime
This section helps you install and configure on-premise Load Generators and Controllers to be connected to NeoLoad Web SaaS and on-premise versions. Installing and configuring Controllers and Load Generators are prerequisites to run tests from NeoLoad Web. For more information, see Run a test.
The sections below guide you through the platform set-up for runtime. It is recommended to perform the steps as follows:
-

Create a Zone
 -

Install and configure a Controller to connect to NeoLoad Web
 -

Install and configure a Load Generator to connect to NeoLoad Web

NeoLoad Web 1.5 to 1.7 requires the use of Controllers 6.5 to 6.7. NeoLoad Web 1.8+ requires using 6.8+ resources.
Create a Zone
Creating a Zone allows defining a set of Controller Agents and Load Generator Agents that will be used to run a test from NeoLoad Web.
For more information, see Create Zones.
Install and configure a Controller
For information on how to install and configure a Controller, see Install and configure a Controller.
Manage licenses for use with the Controller
To run a test from NeoLoad Web, the license associated with NeoLoad is used by default. If you are leasing a license, NeoLoad Web will use the currently leased license to run the test. Finally, if you did not install a license and if you are not leasing one, NeoLoad Web automatically leases a license from Neotys Team Server for the test duration. For more information, see Select license settings.
Install and configure a Load Generator
For information on how to install and configure a Load Generator, see Install and configure a Load Generator.
Configure dynamic infrastructure providers
In order to ensure the use of dynamic infrastructure runs properly in NeoLoad Web, the provider(s) to use must be configured beforehand. For information on how to configure dynamic infrastructure providers, see Configure dynamic infrastructure providers.
