Test Repository integrations
LiveCompare’s integration with Test Repositories allows us to determine what can and can't be tested. For example, the Smart Impact app identifies the most-at-risk executables impacted by a set of changing objects. When integrated with a Test Repository, the Smart Impact app identifies Hits and Gaps.
- A Hit occurs when a most-at-risk executable matches an existing test in the Test Repository. This test may be used to test the most-at-risk object.
- A Gap occurs when a most-at-risk executable doesn't match any tests. Gaps may be used to create requirements in the Test Repository. These requirements may form the basis of new tests.
