Server requirements

There are two ways to configure the LiveCompare server:

• Standard hardware configuration (recommended)

• Custom hardware configuration

Standard hardware configuration

The standard configuration features the latest Microsoft Windows Server operating system and has been designed based on years of customer experience. It includes plenty of room to grow LiveCompare usage. Tricentis recommends this configuration.

Custom hardware configuration

We designed the custom hardware configuration for installations that require greater control over system resources such as operating system, disk space and RAM.

Software

LiveCompare requires the following software components the LiveCompare server machine:

• Microsoft Internet Information Server

• Microsoft .NET Core Hosting Bundle

• Web Browser

• NetWeaver RFC SDK 7.50 latest patch for Windows on X64 64BIT. See here for details.

• Microsoft Access Database Engine

Optionally, you can install Graphviz on the LiveCompare server machine to activate additional features.
