Cloud deployment options
LiveCompare may be deployed in a cloud server environment, for example using Azure or AWS. The installation steps for LiveCompare in the cloud are the same as those for a regular Windows server. It is recommended that users configure HTTPS between their clients and the web server in the cloud supporting LiveCompare.
The following diagrams show some possible deployment options.
In this example, both LiveCompare and SAP are installed in the cloud. LiveCompare connects to the SAP systems in the cloud, and the LiveCompare client machines require network access to the cloud server.
In this example, LiveCompare is installed in the cloud and SAP is installed on-premise. The cloud server requires network access to the on-premise SAP systems, and the LiveCompare client machines require network access to the cloud server.
SAP’s secure network connections (SNC) may be used to provide additional security when connecting LiveCompare in the cloud to on-premise SAP systems.
