Configure SAP to collect BSP Application usage data

Usage data for BSP Applications may be retrieved by the Read Performance History Data and Get Performance History Data actions if the collection of BSP Application usage data has been configured in your SAP system(s). Note that in LiveCompare, this is supported for SAP kernel releases 700 and above. To configure SAP to collect BSP Application usage data, follow these steps:

  1. Run program SWNC_CONFIG_URL using transaction SE38. A screen similar to the following is displayed.

  1. Click Change Configuration and select ‘Break-Down by URL and Page’ in the Transaction Profile section.
  2. Click Execute tool button. or select F8 to confirm any changes.

The SWNC_CONFIG_URL screen may look slightly different depending upon your SAP release. However in each case, the ‘Break-Down by URL and Page’ option should be set to allow the appropriate BSP Application usage data to be collected.
