Create a qTest project with Vera integration
To create a new qTest project and set up the integration with Vera, follow these steps:
Create a project

Open and sign in to qTest.

Select your username at the top right corner.

Select Administration from the dropdown.

Select the Projects tab and then the Add new project button.

In the Project Name box, type:
Vera Tutorial -
Select Add to save changes.
Note the newly added project ID. For example, 130611.
Enable Vera integration

Select the nine-box button.
-
Select Manager from the dropdown.

In the top left of the qTest window, select the Vera Tutorial project from the project dropdown list.

Click the gear icon at the top right and select Integration Settings from the dropdown.

At the top left, select VERA from the list of external systems.

In the VERA URL field, type
https://<qtest_route_actions_server_url>/api/route_action. For example: https://qtest-routeactions.mycompany.com/api/route-action -
For manual test cases, check the Pre Execution Approval (for Manual Test Cases) box.

For manual test runs, check the Post Execution Approval (for Manual Test Runs) box.

Toggle the activation status to ON.

Click the Save button.
A green Save connection successfully. message will be displayed at the top of the configuration page. If a red message is displayed, check the Vera URL entered to ensure that it is correct and accessible from the qTest server.
Find your service account for qTest - Vera connection
To find your service account for qTest, follow these steps:

Open and sign in to Vera Administration.

Navigate to Settings > Connections.

Select qTest connection from the list.

Note the service account name.
Add Vera service account to qTest project
To add Vera service account to your qTest project, follow these steps:

Open and sign in to qTest.
-
Click the nine-box button.
-
Select Manager from the dropdown.
-
Select the Vera Tutorial project.

Click the gear icon at the top right and select User Management from the dropdown.

Click the plus button (+) to add project users.

Find and select the service account from qTest.
-
Select Project Admin user profile and add the service account to the Vera Tutorial project.
Next we will create a domain in Vera.
