Vera integration checklist

This topic describes setting up the Vera integration with Jira and qTest.

Set up Jira integration

To set up Jira project for Vera integration, follow these steps:

1. Create the Vera System Role.

2. Create the Vera service account in Jira.

3. Add Pending Tasks and Vera Sync ID fields.

4. Set up the Standard Vera workflow.

   • Set up Vera webhooks.

   • Disable the Delete, Move, and Clone actions within Jira.

   • Lock Jira records based on workflow states.

5. Create new Jira Project with Vera workflow.

6. Install and configure the Tricentis Vera Electronic Signatures for Jira app (requires Vera URL, Vera Service Account and Password).

7. Configure Vera connection to Jira (requires Jira URL, Jira Service Account and Password).

Set up qTest Vera integration

To set up qTest project for Vera integration, follow these steps:

1. Create the Vera service account in qTest.

2. Create a new qTest project.

3. Enable Vera integration for pre and post execution approval (requires Vera URL).

4. Configure Vera connection to qTest (requires qTest URL, qTest Service Account and Password).

Set up qTest Jira integration

To set up qTest project for Jira integration, follow these steps:

1. Enable Jira integration for Requirements and Defects (requires Jira URL, Jira Service Account and Password).

2. Install and configure the Tricentis qTest for Jira app (requires qTest URL).
