Edit a domain's details

System administrators can perform the following actions on a domain:

Edit a domain

To edit a domain, follow these steps:

  1. Access the Administration area.

  2. Navigate to the Domain Management page.

  3. From the Domain Management page, select the domain name hyperlink or the edit icon from the Actions column.

    A detailed view of the selected domain will be displayed.

Update domain name, description, or domain owner

To update domain name, description, or domain owner, follow these steps:

  1. To update the domain's details, use the input fields Domain NameDescription and Domain Owner and select Save.

  2. To apply your changes, select Save.

Update policy set in domain

Policy Set name is displayed on the domain’s details. Click on the Policy Set hyperlink to navigate to the policy set details.

To change the policy set, see Manage policy sets.

Add projects to a domain

To add a project to a domain, follow these steps:

  1. Select Add Projects.

  2. From the Connection dropdown, select a value.

  3. Complete the Projects to Add field and select Add Projects.

Remove project(s) from a domain

To remove projects from a domain, select the Remove icon from the Actions column.

Domain role management

Domain Users displays users assigned to the selected domain. To remove or add users, see Assign users to a domain role and Remove users from a domain role.

If you don't want to save your changes to the domain, choose one of the following options:

  • Select Reset.

  • Select Cancel in the validation window.

  • Select Tricentis Vera logo in the upper left.

Note: Adding or removing a domain from a project is saved upon completion of the action. Selecting Reset or the Tricentis Vera logo will not cancel the changes made.
