Set up the local environment

Before using the SAP Solution Manager integration, set up the local environment:

  1. Add SAP .NET Connector libraries and environment variables.

  2. Download and deploy SAP Solution Manager components.

Add SAP .NET Connector libraries and environment variables

To use the SAP Solution Manager integration, follow these steps:

  1. Download the SAP .NET Connector Compiled for .NET (formerly .NET Core) from the SAP Service Marketplace (opens in new tab). For information on required versions, check out the system requirements.

  2. Note the path to the folder that contains the ijwhost.dll, sapnco.dll, and sapnco_utils.dll libraries.

  3. Create a system environment variable with the name SAPNCO_DLL_PATH. As the value, enter the path to the libraries folder.

Download and deploy SAP Solution Manager components

Tosca Cloud's Launcher contains all required components for SAP Solution Manager. For information on Launcher requirements and security features, check out Launcher overview. For information on software versions and hardware requirements for this extension, check out the system requirements.

After you download the Launcher, open it via command prompt:

launcher sapsolmanecatt --tenant <tenant>

Replace <tenant> with your tenant name. You can find this information in your Tosca Cloud URL:

https://<your tenant name>.my.tricentis.com/
