Manage your plan
Your Tosca Cloud plan determines your organization's usage limits, such as the maximum number of active users or test runs per month. If the plan doesn't mention a specific metric, then it's not restricted. However, we monitor most metrics and reserve the right to set limits or notify you if usage is unusually high. This allows us to ensure optimal performance for all users.
As an administrator, you can view—and upgrade!—your plan at User menu > Settings > My plan.
And don't worry about unpleasant surprises. In-product notifications will alert you when you're reaching your limits or subscription end date.
What to do if you reach your plan's limits
Once you've reached your plan's limits, you enter a grace period. Within that time, you can keep working but need to take one of these corrective actions:
-
Reduce your product usage.
-
Upgrade your plan to raise your limits.
We'll lock your instance if your usage still exceeds your plan by the end of the grace period. Or during the grace period, if you keep exceeding your limits significantly.
Once your instance is locked, you and your team have restricted rights to Tosca Cloud. For example, you can still perform actions for active users, such as deleting or suspending them. But you can't add new users. Likewise, you can view your existing tests and test runs, but you can't create or run new ones.
We'll automatically unlock your instance once you're back within your plan's limits.
What to do if your plan expires
When your plan expires, you enter a grace period. We lock your instance, and you only have read rights to Tosca Cloud. For information on grace periods and data retention for inactive subscriptions, see the Tricentis Data Processing Agreement (opens in new tab).
You can renew your existing plan at any point before it expires, or during the grace period. After that, you need to purchase a new plan.
