Manage cloud license users

In this topic, you'll learn how to add or remove cloud license users. This allows you to give license access to new testers on your team, or to remove access from testers who have left your company.

Before you start

Make sure you're a license manager with admin rights. You need these rights to add or remove cloud license users.

Access a cloud server's overview page

To access the cloud license management interface, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Tricentis Support Hub.

  2. Expand your profile dropdown in the top right corner and select Admin Space.

  3. In your admin space, go to License Management and select Cloud License Servers.

  4. On the list of cloud servers, select the one whose users you want to manage.

Add license users

To give testers access to cloud licenses, you need to add them as license users to your cloud server:

  1. On the cloud server's overview page, go to the Entitlements tab.

  2. In the Invite section, perform the following actions:

    • Enter the user's email address.

    • Select the Active checkbox.

    • Select the button.

If the user already has a Tricentis Support Hub account, adding them gives them access to your cloud licenses. The user can now connect their instance of Tosca to the cloud server.

If the user doesn't have a Tricentis Support Hub account yet, they need to create an account before they get access to your cloud licenses. You can recognize this user type by their entry on the users list because it only shows their email address and not their name.

Revoke license access

To remove license access from testers, you need to revoke their access:

  1. On the cloud server's overview page, go to the Entitlements tab.

  2. Find the user on the list and select Manage. Then, define whether you want to revoke access temporarily or permanently:

    • To revoke access temporarily, select Deactivate. In this case, you keep the user's information and can reactivate their account later on.

    • To revoke access permanently, select Delete.

Reactivate a deactivated account

To regrant license access to a deactivated user, find them on the users list and select Manage > Activate.
