Create XBrowser Modules

Tosca XScan can identify the controls of your web applications to create XBrowser Modules. With these Modules, Tosca steers the controls of your web applications to test their functionality.

Before you start

To work with the XBrowser Engine and Tosca XScan, you first need to install the Tricentis Automation Extension for your browser. You can do this in different ways:

Run Tosca XScan

Now that you have installed the Tricentis Automation Extension for your browser, you can use Tosca XScan to scan web applications and create Xbrowser Modules. To do so, right-click a Module folder or use the dynamic menu Modules and select Scan->Application. Alternatively, use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Shift + A.

For further information, see "Create Modules by scanning".
