Start Tricentis Automation Recording Assistant

With Tricentis Automation Recording Assistant (Tricentis ARA), you can create TestCases quickly and easily. You can record a TestCase just by using the application as you normally do. During the recording, you interact with the application, and Tricentis ARA translates your actions into TestCases and corresponding Modules.

Prerequisites

Before you start Tricentis ARA, make sure you meet these prerequisites:

• The zoom factor of both your browser and the Windows display settings is set to 100% (default).

• If you use a multi-user workspace, you've checked out the project root element or required ComponentFolders.

• If you scan an SAP application, you've enabled SAP GUI scripting.

Start recording automated TestCases

To record automated TestCases, go to the Home menu and select Automated Test Case.

When you start recording a browser window, Tricentis ARA checks the browser extension and informs you if it needs to install or update it.
