Switch between license types

You can have more than one license type on the same machine. For example, you may have access to licenses from the cloud and from an on-premises license server (opens in new tab).

However, you can't use multiple license types at the same time.

Let's say you have most of your licenses in the cloud. You also have a set of Tosca Data Integrity (DI) licenses, which are on your on-premises license server. If you've been working with your cloud licenses and now want start on your Tosca DI tests, you need to switch to on-premises licensing, which has those licenses.

To switch between license types, follow these steps:

1. Access the license configuration and go to the Manage tab.

2. In the license type dropdown, select the type you want to switch to. Then select Apply.

3. If you're switching to Cloud License or License Server, you need to enter additional information:

   • For cloud, sign in with your Tricentis Support Hub credentials.

   • For the license server, enter the address and port of your server.

4. Select Apply.
