License management

Tricentis Tosca components are licensed in editions. For more information on licensing, licensing packages, and pricing, please reach out to your Tricentis sales representative.

Tosca offers the following licensing categories:

• Cloud licensing: floating licensing via a cloud-hosted license server.

• On-Premises licensing: floating licensing via your own on-premises license server. The Tricentis License Server has its own setup and is released independently of Tosca or Tosca Server.

In both categories, multiple machines have access to the same license pool. Each time a machine runs a specific Tricentis Tosca component, it uses a license from the pool and returns it when it's done.

Access the license configuration

You can access and administer your license in one of these ways:

• Directly in Tosca. Go to Project->License.

• By opening the configuration from the Start menu. Go to Start->All Programs->Tricentis->Tosca License Configuration.

• Via command line.
