Import SC_MON Data

This workflow imports SC_MON stored in an External Data Source into an RFC Destination’s SC_MON tab. The workflow should use a CSV External Data Source created from data exported from the SCMON transaction in SAP.

Prepare the workflow

To prepare the Import SC_MON Data workflow, drag its workflow template from the Templates > Tools folder into your own workspace.

To specify the RFC Destination into which to import SC_MON data:

  1. Select the RFC Destination parameter and choose Edit RFC Destination from its context menu to display the RFC Destination dialog.

  2. Select the RFC Destination for the into which to import SC_MON data, then click Save.

To specify the External Data Source containing the SC_MON data to import:

  1. Select the External Data Source parameter and choose Edit External Data Source from its context menu to display the ExternalDataSource dialog.

  2. Select the External Data Source from which to import SC_MON data, then click Save.

Click Save tool button. to save the workflow.

Run the workflow

To run the Import SC_MON Data workflow, click the Run tool button. toolbar button, choose Run Now from the diagram’s context menu, or select F5. The currently running workflow action is marked with an animated display. When the workflow execution has completed, select the Result dataset and choose View Details from the context menu to display the workflow’s results.

Workflow results

The Result Table dataset indicates how many rows of raw and summary SC_MON data were imported into the RFC Destination’s SC_MON tab, the date and time when the import was performed, the number of months of SC_MON data imported, and the status of the import operation.
