Edit Pipelines

If you have LiveCompare Administrator permissions, you can edit the details for a Pipeline by carrying out the following steps (a LiveCompare Editor may also edit Pipelines if this has been permitted by your installation):

1. Select a Pipeline from the Administration > Pipelines folder in the LiveCompare hierarchy, and click Edit in the Details pane. The Edit Pipeline screen is displayed for the selected Pipeline.

2. Modify the screen fields as described in the Create Pipelines help topic.

3. Click Save to save your changes. When a Pipeline is saved, LiveCompare discards any Search Test Repositories or Execute Test Repositories that have a blank or (Not Selected) Test Repository field.

A Pipeline may be renamed by selecting it in the Administration > Pipelines folder and choosing Rename from the context menu. Alternatively, select a Pipeline in the hierarchy and select F2 to perform in-line editing.

If a Pipeline is renamed, any Pipeline parameters or app variants that refer to the old name will need to be updated to refer to the new Pipeline name.
