Edit Import Specifications

If you have LiveCompare Administrator permissions, Import Specifications may be edited as described below.

  1. Select an Import Specification from the Administration > Import Specifications folder in the LiveCompare hierarchy. This folder is only displayed for users with Administrator permissions.
  2. Edit the Import Specification name as required. Modify the LDAP server connection settings, the role and Resource Groups to be assigned to imported users, and the import schedule for the specification by editing the details in the appropriate tabs.
  3. Complete the LDAP Account Password field in the LDAP tab, and click Save to save any changes.

An LDAP Import Specification may be renamed by selecting it in from the Data > External Data Sources folder and choosing Rename from the context menu. Alternatively, select the Import Specification in the hierarchy and select F2 to perform in-line editing.
