Mismatch Notification
The settings on the Mismatch Notification page define the following:
-
Whether Vera sends an email when it detects a sync issue and adds it to the Record Integrity queue.
-
Who receives that email.
Vera always logs new sync issues in the Record Integrity queue, regardless of the Mismatch Notification settings. If you disable notifications, you only stop the emails.
Before you start
To change the Mismatch Notification settings, you need to be a Site Administrator.
Confirm that SMTP server management is configured, because Vera uses the SMTP server to send emails.
Open the Mismatch Notification page
To open the page, follow these steps:
-
In the navigation menu, select Source Record Management.
-
Select Mismatch Notification.
Configure Mismatch Notification
On the Mismatch Notification page, choose whether Vera sends an email when it detects a new sync issue, and who receives it. By default, every Site Administrator receives these emails.
To configure mismatch notification, follow these steps:
-
To send notification emails, select Send mismatch notification emails when a new potential mismatch is logged. To stop all email alerts, clear the option.
-
Choose who receives the emails:
-
To notify every Site Administrator, leave the Recipients (optional allow-list) field empty.
-
To notify only specific administrators, select each administrator in the Recipients (optional allow-list) field.
-
-
Select Save settings.
What's next
With notifications set, here's what you can do next:
-
Record Integrity to triage and resolve sync issues from the queue.
-
Check out SMTP server management if your notification emails don't arrive.
