Process Steps

  1. Link qTest test case to requirement (optional).

  2. Route qTest test case for approval.

  3. qTest test case is linked to Vera approval route.

Special Rule(s)

  • The qTest test case will become locked against editing.

  • The qTest test case and Tosca test case can be unlocked with a cancel approval action from qTest.

  • The qTest test case and Tosca test case can be unlocked with rejection action from Vera.

Note: Routing Tosca test cases for approval requires processing time to get Tosca record from Tosca Commander REST API and write the Test Case to Vera.

To route a Tosca test case for approval, follow these steps:

  1. Select the qTest test case with Tosca and Automation checked.

  2. Select the Route for Approval button and wait for Vera to process the record.

    qTest test case Vera fields are updated and the Vera approval route contains links to approval tasks.

Note: Approval routes are configurable.
