Complete Tosca test mandate approval route

Vera domain approvers can approve qTest test runs with Tosca test results. When all approval tasks are complete, the approval route is complete, and the qTest test runs with Tosca test result is approved.

Process Steps

All approvers complete their approval tasks with these steps:

  1. Use the Approval Task link to navigate to Vera Approval Task or sign in to Vera to see the Vera Approval Queue.

  2. Select Approve option.

  3. Enter credentials for eSignature.

Special Rule(s)

  • The qTest test run remain locked and uneditable.

  • Vera approvers must be associated to the same domain as the qTest project.

  • When all approval tasks are complete, the approval route is complete and the qTest test run is approved.

  • The associated Tosca TestEvent, TestMandate, and ExecutionLists are editable.

To complete a Tosca test mandate approval route, follow these steps:

  1. Select the approval task from VERA Approval Route or Approval Queue.

    The record is displayed in Vera with qTest Execution Logs, Tosca Execution Lists, Execution Logs, Step Logs and Step Values.

  2. Go to the attachments of the Tosca Execution List section.

  3. Open the Doku Snapper report to view screenshots and test detail.

  4. Approve or reject the record.

  5. Use your authentication provider to approve the record.

  6. Enter your credentials to approve the record.

    Approval task is updated with approver name, userid and approval timestamp. When all approval tasks are complete, the Tosca test case is approved and can be executed.
