What's new in 2025.3
We're excited to announce Tricentis Vera 2025.3 with user interface, performance, and security improvements.
This topic gives you an overview of our 2025.3 key features. For a detailed list of all features, resolved issues, and known issues, please check out the technical release notes.
Reassign approval tasks to individual approver
Vera route owners and domain administrators can reassign approval tasks from the approval group to an individual or named approver after a record is routed for approval. Named approval tasks will only be visible in the assignee's Approval Queue and only the assignee can complete an approval task assigned to them. This functionality is part of a larger Assign Approvers feature that will be delivered in subsequent releases.
Allow approval of multiple tasks by one approver
Vera prevents an individual approver from completing more than one approval task on a record by default. Vera Approval Templates in the approval policy can be configured to allow one approver with multiple approval roles the ability to approve the same record more than once. For example, an approver is a member of the Technical and System Owner role in a domain. This user can complete the Technical and System Owner approval tasks instead of having to pick one or the other if the approval template is configured to allow this behavior.
Other Web Portal improvements
The Connections table was updated with new filter capabilities, reorder columns as well as ability to show / hide columns. Selections are cached as well so user settings are remembered in subsequent sessions. We will continue to update legacy Site Administration tables in subsequent releases.
qTest Defect approval
qTest Defect approval is available as a technical preview along with Workflow and qTest Requirement Approval technical preview included in our previous release. Vera will update the qTest Defect Vera Action field with available transitions for the current Vera approval status defined in the workflow.
This technical preview can be enabled on qTest projects integrated with Vera by adding fields to the qTest Defect.
Note: There are no qTest controls in place in this technical preview. The qTest record is editable regardless of Vera approval status and Vera fields are also editable.
