Jira integration known limitations

There are a few known limitations with the Vera Jira integration.

Take these limitations into account as you configure the Record Management policy.

Jira Cloud limitations

• Prevent Author Approval does not work with Jira Cloud issues. The Jira Cloud API only provides the User GUID and Public Name, which Vera cannot use to map the Jira issue author to a Vera user.

Field limitations

• Link Fields, such as the Epic Link Relationship field, import the issue ID of the link into Vera, but the hyperlink to click back to Jira does not display in Vera.

• Multiple Link Fields, such as the Linked Issues field, import the JSON formatted details in Vera and do not display in user-readable format.
