Route a test run for approval in qTest

To route a test run for approval in qTest, follow these steps:

1. Click on Test Execution.

2. Open your test cycle.

3. Open your test suite.

4. Open your test run.

5. Click on the Route for Approval button to route your test run for approval.

   A dialogue box will pop up to confirm that you want to route the test run for approval.

6. Click Proceed to continue.

   Another dialogue box will pop up to confirm your changes.

7. Click OK & Refresh for your changes to take effect.

Property changes

The following property values update after your changes take effect:

• VERA Approval Status updates to Routing.

• VERA Pending Tasks field updates to indicate the next required approver(s).

• VERA Approval Route populates with the approval tasks and their corresponding data.

To approve or reject a qTest test run, click on the approval task link for which you are the reviewer.
