Create users and assign to domain roles
Now that the approval route is associated with the domain, approval roles are available for user assignment. The current approval policy has the following approval groups: Business, Technical and Quality.

Here is how we create users in Vera and assign them to domain roles:
To create new users on web portal, follow these steps:

Sign in to Vera administration site.

Select User Management on the Vera sidebar under User Management module.

Select Add User.

In the Add User Profile window, enter the following details:

tutor_dain the User Name filed. -
Domain Adminin the Full Name filed. -
tutor_da@tx3services.comin the Email Address field. -
Select VERA from the Login Identity Provider dropdown.

Enter a complex password in the Password field.

Select Add User.
To add domain roles to users, follow these steps:

Sign in to Vera administration site.

Select User Management from the Vera sidebar under the User Management module.

Search and select Tutor Domain Admin.
-
Select Domain & Roles.
-
Select Show all domains checkbox.
-
Select Tutorial domain from Domains dropdown.

Click Search.
-
Search and select Domain Administration from Roles field.
-
Select the checkbox to save role to the user.
Add new approvers to Vera for this new domain:

Use the sample file below to import the following users into Vera:

Download the TutorialUsersImportSample-1.csv file to your desktop.

Open the file to edit and add a strong password after the colon (:) in the IdP User Name column for each user.

Save the file in .csv format.

Sign in to Vera administration site.

Select User Management from the Vera sidebar.

Select Import Users.
-
Click Choose File and select the file TutorialUsersImportSample-1.csv.

Click Import.
-
View Latest Import Results for success status.
Note We are using local accounts for this tutorial.

Vera integrates with SAML for corporate authentication. The IdP user name is imported for SAML users, not passwords.
To view imported users by domain, follow these steps:

Sign in to Vera administration site.

Select Domain Management from the Vera sidebar under Domain Management module.

Search and select Tutorial domain from the domains table.
-
Scroll down to Domain Users on the Domain Details page.

Domain Users are displayed with their User Name, Full Name, and Roles.

Note: Domain role assignments can be done from Domain Management or User Management. We can also import users with Domain Roles.
