Complete Tosca test case approval route

Vera domain approvers can approve Tosca tests. When all approval tasks are complete, the approval route is complete, and the Tosca test case is approved.

Process Steps

All approvers complete their approval tasks with these steps:

  1. Use approval task link to navigate to Vera approval task or sign in to Vera to see the Vera approval queue.

  2. Select Approve option.

  3. Enter credentials for eSignature.

Special Rule(s)

  • The qTest test case and Tosca test case remain locked and uneditable.

  • The qTest test case and Tosca test case can be unlocked with a Revise action from qTest.

  • The Tosca test case can be executed when all approval tasks are complete and the record is approved.

  • Vera approvers must be associated to the same domain as the qTest project.

  • When all approval tasks are complete, the approval route is complete and the Tosca test case is approved.

Note: Completing the Tosca test case approval requires processing time to update the Tosca test case WorkStatus with the Tosca Commander REST API.

To complete Tosca test case approval route, follow these steps:

  1. Select Approval Task from VERA Approval Route or Approval Queue.

    The record is displayed in Vera with Tosca steps and attachments.

  2. Approve or reject the record.

  3. Use your authentication provider to approve the record.

  4. Enter your credentials to approve the record.

    Approval task is updated with approver name, userid and approval timestamp. When all approval tasks are complete, the Tosca test case is approved and can be executed.
