Web Portal improvement

The latest Vera user interface now features Tricentis standard components and branding, so you can enjoy a smoother and improved user experience!

Updated Vera user interface

Integration enhancements

  • Import Releases from qTest: Vera can now import releases from qTest when a Requirement or Test Run is associated with a release. Releases can originate from qTest or Jira with qTest’s Jira integration enabled.

    Import Releases from qTest

  • Import qTest linked Records: Vera now includes Linked Records when you update records in qTest. Not only you can see coverage links on Requirements and Test Cases in Vera, but you can also see execution links on Test Cases and Test Runs.

Note that this requires a configuration update to the Records Management Policy.

Document creation

Domain users can now create release documents, such as Requirements Traceability Matrixes and Execution Summary Reports and output them in different formats.

Administrative features

If you're an administrator, you can now enjoy these additional features:

  • User Role Report: Generate, filter, sort, and export a report that lists all users, their domains, system roles, statuses, and last access dates.

  • Record Details field order: Configure the order of fields in Record Details, which is by default in alphabetical order.

  • Include login and logout in audit log: View the login and logout times in the audit log.

  • User account change notifications: Besides automatically sending an email to users when their profile changes, you receive notification emails every time an account is locked or there are changes in account IDP, usernames, or user account authentication methods.

User experience enhancements

  • Timezone configuration: You can now set a timezone in your User Profile, with GMT as the default. Additionally, you can configure date fields to display the timezone on source records.

For more information on formatting fields, check out "Configure the Record Management Policy".

  • Record Status filter improvements: The Record Status filter now reflects the standard Vera statuses. This means Vera automatically converts all records with a non-standard Vera status to an equivalent standard Vera status.

Domain Management

To better support data organization and control over project records, administrators must now associate a project with a domain before routing records from that project for approval. If a record is routed for approval without domain association, the action will fail. Previously, records from projects without domain association were automatically added to the Default Domain.
