Data privacy and retention

Tosca Cloud is a hosted cloud service. As such, it stores and retains user-provided data:

  • Static data such as test cases or modules. We retain this data for as long as there's an active subscription.
  • Static attachments such as module screenshots. We retain this data for as long as there's an active subscription.
  • Historical data such as shared run result logs or event logs. We retain this data for a rolling 12 months.
  • Historical video data such as recordings of failed test runs. We retain this data for a rolling 12 months.
  • Agent data such as name and characteristics. We retain this data for 24 hours after the agent is disconnected.
  • LiveView data, which are test run screenshots taken with LiveView, provided that the setting is active. We retain this data for 24 hours after the agent that took the images is disconnected.

Trial run results from personal agents are specific type of data, only available to the user who triggered the trial test run. We retain this data for 24 hours.
