Tosca Server patch notes for version 2026.1 LTS

Installation

Tosca Server 2026.1 LTS patches support implicit installations and automatically transfer your configurations and settings to the patched version. The only exceptions to this are Exploratory Testing and Interactive Testing, where you need to back up and repopulate configuration files manually.

To install a Tosca Server patch, follow these steps:

1. Download Tosca Server 2026.1.2 (opens in new tab) from the Tricentis Support Hub. Please note that you must be signed in with your Tricentis Support Hub credentials to see the download.

2. If you use Exploratory Testing and/or Interactive Testing, back up their configuration files.

3. Unzip the download package. Then, trigger the patch process:

   • For attended installation, run the executable file.

   • For unattended installation, run the command "Tricentis Tosca Server 2026.1.2.exe" /s /qn.

   Depending on your system environment, you may need to run as an administrator.

4. If you use Exploratory Testing and/or Interactive Testing, update the new version's configuration files.

5. Open Tricentis Service Configuration and verify your settings. Then, select Save in any tab. This is an important step to finalize your patch.

New features

This section lists new features that we've added.

Ocelot configuration: New timeout setting (since patch 2)

You can now set the time Tosca Gateway waits for a response from a service. This way, you can support services that need longer to respond. For example, services that handle long REST API calls. The setting is available for the following services: 

• RDP Server

• Distributed Execution Monitor

• Distributed Execution Server

• Automation Object Service
