Distributed Execution with AOS using multiple repositories

Typically, you use Tosca Distributed Execution with Automation Object Service (AOS) with one common repository. All users and AOS workspaces are connected to this repository.

If you work on multiple projects that are split between multiple repositories, you can set up Tosca Distributed Execution with AOS to work with multiple repositories:

1. If you haven't yet, prepare all repositories and their workspaces. For details, check out "Create multi-user workspaces". Keep these things in mind:

   • Make sure that the name of the first workspace you create contains only alphanumeric characters and underscores _. Don't use any other special characters.

   • Make note of the project root name, which you'll need in the next step.

2. Create AOS workspaces for each repository.

3. If you have additional user machines, perform these actions:

   • Administer applicable licenses for these machines.

   • Connect the additional Tosca Commander instances. For details, check out the respective setup topic: HTTP setup or HTTPS setup.
