Forge migration for qTest Jira Cloud apps

Tricentis is migrating the qTest Jira Cloud Marketplace apps from Atlassian Connect to Atlassian Forge by Q4 2026. This is to maintain compatibility after Atlassian's end-of-support deadline for Connect (opens in new tab) on 31 January 2027.

In most cases, you don't need to take any action, as this is an upgrade to our dependencies. Each migration is delivered as a standard app update through the Atlassian Marketplace. We'll keep this page updated with anything you need to know.

Which apps are affected

The migration is in process, and we will update you about any changes.

The following Jira Cloud apps are getting updates to migrate to Forge:

What that means for you

We'll publish rollout details for each app, including any administrator actions or configuration changes. Make sure you check the Plug-ins and Add-ons Release Notes for each app release when you update.

Here's what will stay the same after the updates:

  • Your functionality doesn't change. Test coverage on Jira issues, real-time synchronization, defect submission, and BDD feature management all stay exactly the same.

  • Your qTest data isn't affected. This migration changes how the app runs inside Jira, not how qTest stores, processes, or transfers your test data.
