Add a group of external users
Adding a group of external users consists in defining groups in NeoLoad Web based on a LDAP directory and assigning them a role.
Before adding external groups, you need to proceed with Configure LDAP.
Please note:
-
User information coming from the LDAP directory cannot be modified in NeoLoad Web. Contact the IT department of your organization if you need to change this data.
-
If a user belongs to several groups that have different roles, the role that applies to the user is the one with the largest authorizations.
To add multiple external users at the same time, follow these steps:
-
In the left navigation panel, click Settings and select the Users tab.
-
Select the LDAP tab.
-
In the LDAP tab, click ADD GROUPS.
-
The Adding groups screen displays the users of the LDAP directory configured.
-
Name: the name of the group.
-
Group ID: The unique identifier for a NeoLoad Web group.
Only the first 100 groups are displayed. Use the Filter on Name field to quickly find the user(s) in the directory by entering their unique user ID.
-
-
Select the checkbox located on the left of the group(s) you want to add.
-
Give a role to the new group(s), this will determine their access rights to NeoLoad Web. You can choose between Admin, Tester or Guest.
For more information about roles authorizations, see On-premise User roles.
-
Click ADD to validate the adding of the group.
