Request Security Profile

A request security profile is a set of security rules (that can be represented as a tree) applied in sequence to a Web service request when it is sent to the server.

When NeoLoad sends a SOAP request that has a request security profile, it automatically includes the XML tags corresponding to the security headers and tokens defined in the profile and based on the WS-Security standard.

A request security profile:

  • has a unique name,

  • includes one or more security headers, and

  • one or more security tokens per header.

Note: By default, a request security profile contains a single empty header.

The request security profile editing window can be displayed with the button.
