About Tricentis NeoLoad

Tricentis NeoLoad simplifies and scales performance testing for everything from APIs and microservices, to end-to-end application testing. Tricentis NeoLoad is purpose built to be flexible and fast, working with complementary testing solutions and toolchains to enable continuous performance testing on web and mobile applications.

Why load test web applications?

Applications are all built differently, but they all need to perform. Load testing is necessary to:

  • Test website vulnerability to crashing under load.

  • Check response times under the predicted load.

  • Determine the number of simultaneous users supported by an application.

  • Define hardware and bandwidth requirements.

Load testing with Tricentis NeoLoad

Tricentis NeoLoad meets enterprise testing requirements and tests within both manual and automated approaches. When you load tests with Tricentis NeoLoad, you:

  • Record HTTP traffic between browser and server. This includes a proxy server that records all requests and responses.

  • Define test parameters. This includes the number of Virtual Users to be simulated during the test, setting scenario parameters, and defining Virtual User behavior.

  • Run the test and monitor the ongoing test with the aid of real-time graphs and statistical tables.

  • Analyze the results through a test summary with detailed graphs and statistical tables.

Because Tricentis NeoLoad records and replays browser requests to the server, it can simulate requests made by components such as plug-ins, Java applets, ActiveX, and Flash animations.
