Log of the Load Generator Agents

The log file of a Load Generator Agent contains all the actions on the Load Generator managed by the Agent.

It is the agent.log file accessible:

  • with the Open Logs Folder command:

    • with a right-click on the NeoLoad Agent icon in the systray, on the dedicated machine of the Agent

    • in the Help menu of the NeoLoad Controller for a local Agent use

  • directly in the directory of the NeoLoad logs:

    • C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Roaming\Neotys\NeoLoad\NeoLoad\logs\ (Windows operating systems) on the dedicated machine of the Agent.

    • ~/.neotys/neoload/2024.1/logs (Linux and Mac operating systems)

    • C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Neotys\Neoload\NeoLoad\logs\ (Windows operating systems) for a Controller installation and a local Agent use.

    • C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Neotys\NeoLoad\v2024.1\terminalservices\<UUID>\logs for a Load Generator in Terminal Services mode.

Display the log of the Load Generator Agent of a dedicated machine

To display the log of the Load Generator Agent of a dedicated machine, follow these steps: 

  1. Go to the logs directory on the Agent machine:

    • In the systray, right-click the Agent icon and choose Open Logs Folder, or

    • Open C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Roaming\Neotys\NeoLoad\NeoLoad 2024.1\logs\ (Windows operating systems) or,

    • C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Neotys\NeoLoad\v2024.1\terminalservices\<UUID>\logs for a Load Generator in Terminal Services mode

    • ~/.neotys/neoload/2024.1/logs (Linux and Mac operating systems)

  2. Open agent.log.

To display the log of the Load Generator Agent of a Controller installation, follow these steps: 

  1. Go to the logs directory:

    • In the Controller, click Help > Open Logs Folder, or

    • Open C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Neotys\NeoLoad\NeoLoad 2024.1\logs\ (Windows operating systems), or

    • C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Neotys\NeoLoad\v9.0\terminalservices\<UUID>\logs for a Load Generator in Terminal Services mode

    • ~/.neotys/neoload/2024.1/logs (Linux and Mac operating systems)

  2. Open agent.log.
