Unable to display some characters

Problem

Some alphabet characters are not displayed by NeoLoad and are replaced by squares.

Solution

By default NeoLoad uses the font of the operating system. If this font is not able to display some characters, a key in the controller.properties configuration file allows you to override the default font used by NeoLoad.

To override the default font, follow these steps:

1. Open the controller.properties configuration file (for more information, see controller.properties).

2. Enter a font name in the [GUI]default.font key.

   For example, setting this key to "Arial Unicode MS" under Windows will allow to correctly display Tamil characters.
