Collect Daily Usage Audit Data

This workflow retrieves daily usage audit data into the specified RFC Destination’s DUA tab.

Prerequisites

If you have installed LiveCompare in SAP using a custom role, note that the LiveCompare user requires the following authorization to download performance history data using the SAP Native RFC method.

Prepare the workflow

To prepare the Collect Daily Usage Audit Data workflow, drag its workflow template from the Templates > Tools folder into your own workspace, and modify the workflow as follows:

To specify the RFC Destination for which to collect daily usage audit data:

  1. Select the RFC Destination parameter and choose Edit RFC Destination from its context menu to display the RFC Destination dialog.

  2. Select the required RFC Destination, then click Save.

The workflow retrieves the most recent 13 months of daily usage audit data by default. To update this value:

  1. Select the workflow’s Collect Daily Usage Audit Data action.

  2. In the Property Editor, set a new value for the Months property.

The workflow retrieves daily usage audit data using a LiveCompare remote function call by default. To configure the workflow to collect daily usage audit data using an SAP native remote function call:

  1. Select the workflow’s Collect Daily Usage Audit Data action.

  2. In the Property Editor, set the Method property to SAPRfc.

Click Save tool button. to save the workflow.

Run the workflow

To run the Collect Daily Usage Audit Data workflow, click the Run tool button. toolbar button, choose Run Now from the diagram’s context menu, or select F5. The currently running workflow action is marked with an animated display. When the workflow execution has completed, select the Result dataset and choose View Details from the context menu to display details of the collected daily usage audit data.
